50 new Microsoft Certified System Engineers in Sabah

Mission possible: In six months, these 50 new Microsoft Certified System Engineers in Sabah have proven that they can achieve the world's highest ICT certification through part-time studies. They are the first batch of the MCSE training programme sponsored by the ministry of resource development and information technology.

Chinese cultural torch run

Chief Minister Musa Aman lit a torch on October 9 in Kota Kinabalu to launch the final lap of a five-month long Chinese cultural torch run. It is the precursor to a one-million ringgit ($320,000) national Chinese cultural festival on November 11 at the Likas Sports Complex in Kota Kinabalu. The Sabah government has donated 200,000 ringgit to it and Prime Minister Najib Razak is expected to launch the festival in its 28th year.
