A fatal mistake in delaying cancer surgery

A new biography of Steve Jobs, the late Apple co-founder, has revealed that he regretted delaying cancer surgery for nine months. That, according to its author, could have been a fatal mistake as Jobs experimented with diets and unconventional therapies to fight a rare form of pancreatic cancer. Leaked details of the 630-page book that is simply title Steve Jobs also say that Jobs had vowed to destroy Google's Android saying that “it's a stolen product”. The book goes on sale on October 24.

Kate Middleton takes a backseat

The craze over the wedding dress of Kate Middleton, Britain's prince William's wife, seems to have died down. Following her spring wedding, replicas of Middleton's wedding dress were produced in a frenetic pace. But designer Gregory Nato tells the Wall Street Journal that “the trend is going the exact opposite”. Tea length styles with hemlines falling around the calf no longer are appealing. And brides are now avoiding the Duchess' look.
