SESB
SESB is now on Facebook and Twitter

By Fizah Yusof
Social networking sites are becoming more useful nowadays and many companies and even the government agencies have now opted to use this channel of communication. Social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and others have become an avenue for people to interact, share and discuss information.
Realising the benefit of these social networks; Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) has likewise launched it's official Facebook and Twitter, and they did this at the Palace Hotel Kota Kinabalu, yesterday.

SESB Managing Director, Ir. Abdul Razak Sallim said with the newly added media channels, customers would be able to get updates on current supply status as news will be updated within minutes of receiving reports from operations.
"We want to give our customer the best services. We aim to give the right information, to the right people, at the right time and through the right channels," he said.
Ir. Abdul Razak said SESB is fully aware of the potential of the internet.
"It makes our work more efficient and allows us to reach our 488,000 customers faster and enables us to develop strategies that address their concerns. Now, customers can report cases of breakdown directly via the social pages," he said.
He also said that through the websites, facebook and twitter, customers will be provided with reliable information about SESB's developments, operations, information that may lead to business opportunities. - Insight Sabah
