Musa: BN Women are dedicated

The Likas Hall today turned blue as 2,000 or so Barisan Nasional (BN) women gathered to witness the launching of the BN Women’s Blue Wave event.
The gathering was part of 20,000 women statewide who serve as a grassroot networking task force to act as a bridge between the BN party and the people. There are approximately 300,000 BN women members involved in this movement nationwide.
In his speech Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman noted that the women were in high spirits, ready to face the upcoming elections.
“The Barisan Nasional women are ready to face the elections. They are willing to work hard day and night to ensure our success in the elections,” he said.
Musa thanked the gathering for their hard work and dedication, but at the same time reminded them to take care of themselves and their families.
The head of the BN Women, Dato’ Sri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil commended Musa for his dedicated leadership that has benefited women in Sabah.
“Women are empowered under Musa’s leadership,” she said.
According to Shahrizat, a survey on the attitude of women voters done by the party showed that the support for the government is encouraging.
“Women will support the government as they desire stability and a bright future for the younger generation,” she stressed.
Sharizat reminded the gathering to persevere in their spirit and dedication to face the elections that will be held at any time soon.
