熟練技術人員供不應求

沙巴經濟的蓬勃發展令熟練技術人員出現供不應求的情況。正因如此,州技術訓練與商科學院(ILTP)隨著技術訓練入學率逐漸增加,決推出兩項與石油和天然氣工業相關的課程,以應付這門逐漸成長且需要大量人力資源的工業。

沙巴資源發展與資訊工藝部長于墨齋醫生指出,新推出的課程將會招收40名學生。預計在明年1月份開始的結構焊接與製造課程將會有20名學生,主管課程則將在6月份始開始。

ILTP明年將會為其提供的各項技術課程招收共858名新生。于氏披露,入學學生的數目是非常鼓舞的,因爲現在有其他學校亦提供類似的訓練課程。“我可以看見人民對ILTP的信心逐漸增長,”他在196名技術訓練課程畢業生畢業刊感言中如是表示。

于氏在吧巴頒發畢業證書予結業訓練生時表示,該學院的結構焊接與製造課程將會與人力資源發展局(JPSM)、國家石油公司和吉隆坡大學(UniKL)聯辦。至於主管課程則由獲得JPSM、國家石油公司以及馬來西亞能源委員會的支持。

他說,沙巴州政府將會撥出850萬令吉(約250萬美元)作建造學院宿舍和為ILTP購買器材之用。“這些器材都是符合馬來西亞國家職業技能水準(NOSS) 第一級和第二級的技術證書水平,”他說。

于醫生表示,屬其部門管轄的JPSM將會製造更多熟練的年輕技術人員,以應付人力資源市場日漸增加的需求量。該培訓學員也會提供青少年中級管理職業的訓練。

他希望JPSM未來將會提供高級文憑,讓ILTP能生産更多較高水準和具競爭能力的人力資源。

另一方面,他建議應屆畢業生應當把握眼前的工作機會。“不要太挑剔,”他如是告訴畢業生們。“我希望家長們能鼓勵他們的孩子改變這個思維。” – Insight Sabah

    嘿,不是供不应求,而是全跑去西马或新加坡工作去了。
    公司开口800元月薪给大学毕业生,这种荒唐的事只会在沙巴发生,还要怪大学生太过挑剔? 可悲啊。。
