Songs and money for the deaf and blind

The music played. The singers sang. The blind heard but could not see. The deaf saw but could not hear. This poignant scene was played out at the Intan Jaycees charity dinner for the deaf and blind at the Grand Port View restaurant in Kota Kinabalu on August 7. “The blind enjoyed listening to the songs,” Zyee Dullie, the dinner organiser said. “The deaf felt the emotions of the singers.”
